Shipping Policy

This shipping policy describes how we handle processing times, delivery times and shipping costs for orders placed on www.evfreaks.uk and www.evfreaks.eu

1. Order processing time

For standard in stock parts:

  • Orders are usually processed and dispatched within 3 to 5 working days.
    - Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays
  • We do ship Internationaly - to all Europe, USA, Asia, UAE, rest of world.

If there is any delay beyond this, we will contact you by email where possible.

2. Build times for made to order products like high powered 72v, 81v or 96v batteries is usually 2-3 weeks.

Some products are built to order, for example:

- Custom battery packs  
- Some controller kits  
- Custom finished parts frame powdercoating, hydrodipping, custom colours requests.

For these items the product page will show an estimated build or lead time, for example 2 to 4 weeks. The lead time is the time needed to prepare the item before dispatch. It is separate from the shipping time.

Lead times are estimates. We will do our best to meet them but cannot guarantee exact dates because of supply, manufacturing and logistics factors.

3. Shipping methods and carriers

Orders are shipped with trusted couriers or postal services. Common options are:

- UPS Express
- DPD  
- DHL

The available options for your address and the current prices are shown at checkout.

All parcels are sent with tracking where possible. You will receive tracking information by email once your order has been dispatched.

4. Shipping areas

We ship from the United Kingdom.

We ship internationally to all countries:

- United Kingdom  
- All countries in Europe  
- Rest of world - USA, Canada, Hawaii, Norway, Switzerland, UAE, Asia, Russia, etc.

If shipping is not available for your address at checkout, contact us at info@evfreaks.uk and we will confirm if we can arrange a manual quote.

5. Shipping costs and free shipping

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight and order value.

Where we offer free shipping above a certain order value, the threshold will be clearly shown on the site and in the cart. The free shipping offer usually applies to mainland UK addresses only unless stated otherwise.

Orders that contain very heavy or oversized items may not qualify for free shipping. If that happens we will contact you before dispatch.

6. Customs, duties and taxes

For orders delivered outside the United Kingdom:

- Your order may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs fees charged by your local customs authority  
- These charges are your responsibility and are not included in our prices or shipping costs  
- We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their exact amount

If you refuse a parcel because you do not want to pay customs charges, any refund will be reduced by all return shipping costs and any fees charged to us by the carrier.

7. Pre orders and backorders

Sometimes products are offered on a pre order or backorder basis. In these cases:

- The product page will show an estimated dispatch time  
- Your payment method may be charged at the time of order  
- If there is a significant delay, we will contact you with options

If you prefer not to wait, reply to our email and we will discuss alternative options or a refund.

8. Lost or damaged parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged:

- Take clear photos of the package and the contents  
- Contact us within 3 working days of delivery at info@evfreaks.uk or 447930273034

If your parcel appears to be lost:

- First check the tracking information and with neighbours or local depot  
- If you still cannot locate it, contact us and we will open an investigation with the carrier

Investigations with carriers can take time. We will keep you updated and work with you to reach a fair outcome.

9. Wrong address and failed delivery

Please check your shipping address carefully at checkout. If the address is incorrect and the parcel cannot be delivered:

- We cannot be responsible for lost parcels where an incorrect or incomplete address was provided  
- If a parcel is returned to us, we can resend it once you pay the new shipping cost
